About Us

FCYN was started by four business owners who were tired of the same old orthodoxed networking events being held across the UK. With most attendees aged over forty, there was not much scope for younger attendees to make an impact. With this in mind they formed FCYN, a new tyoe of networking event designed to attract a younger audience.

FCYN started from one weekly event in Oxford but now has over 50 locations each week. Young business people up and down the country are now benefitting from the help, advice and new business referrals which can come from FCYN events. The demand for youth business networking is clearly there and we are hoping to announce many more locations within the next two years

What happens at an FCYN event?


Each week FCYN members meet to discuss business, commerce as well as more general topics. There is a formal agenda each week, with one attendee normally conducting a presentation each week. After that there is an informal session where attendees can speak about any potential opportunities they might have.

Do I have to attend every week?


No. We realise that as business people it may not been realistic to expect all members to attend every week. However, if you cannot attend an FCYN event, we ask that you let the group leader know in advance.
