First Class Youth Network (FCYN) is an organisation, who are here to help the real young people, who are living within the inner city areas. FCYN was set up in the early part of 2004. We are looking to work along side Youth with Vision, Pride and those that have a burning desire to change.

Before reading any further please humble yourself and read with a sound mind!!

We have some real problems in our lives and society. We need the renewal of our minds. What's different about First Class Youth Network is the fact that we are a group of young people that have a passion for helping young people in their personal struggle in life whether it be education, gun crime, drugs, sex, family, etc. From our own life experiences we have all seen and done a lot of things. Life is not easy, trials and tribulations will come your way!!! We have grown up in the inner city and seen all the changes go from bad to worse. From the days of fist fights now to GUN fights. We must ask when is it all going to stop: war, beef, strife, under achievement in education, etc.

First Class Youth Network is here to help you make a positive change to your life.

We will also be creating multi-agency networks with other community, public and private organizations, for young people to access and utilise in their free time, with the aim to further education and life skills.

The voice of young people often goes unheard, even more so for young BME (black minority ethnic) people. The creation of a Black youth forum and network in Birmingham and nationally is very much needed.

First Class Youth Network will offer a unique opportunity for young people to socialise and discuss issues which they feel are affecting them and their communities, through debate shows in and around Birmingham. This will encourage young people's development, through positive communication.

We will also create an opportunity for young people to meet with local and national authority officials, in order for young people to ask questions and have a say about what happens in their community.

FCYN Vision...
To create a positive network, whereby disadvantaged young people can unite to make a positive change. These young people can access facilities and communicate with other young people who share the same vision, to enable their voices to be heard and be part of an innovative movement, whereby individuals are working to their full potential.
